Minutes of the Meeting of:

Monday, September 22, 2003

I. General Information

    - It was decided that the October 20th meeting will be followed by Movie Night. We will be watching "The War Room". Details will be decided at a later date.

    - It was decided that College Dems will be happy to co-sponsor the Debate on Affirmative Action to be held on November 13th at 7.00pm. More details will be given at a later date.

    - It was decided that if enough people would like to, College Dems would like to represent at the APC Softball Tournament. Please send an email to umkccollegedems@umkc.edu for more information.

II. Elections were held and officer meeting day and time was set. Results are as follows:

    - President: Ally Letsky

    - Vice-President: Simon Khagi

    - Secretary: Lucas Henry

    - Treasurer: Kate Harris

    - Co-Communications Directors: Daniel Lee and Ashly Evans

    - Campaign Director: Marcus Leach

    - Social Director: Darin Martinez

    - Events Director: Lindsey Bridges

III. We watched the Democratic Presidential Debate that was aired on September 9th.
