Student Display Case

Are you interested in displaying your honors and achievements at the Conservatory?

Conservatory students, Conservatory student organizations, and Conservatory student ensembles that wish to display awards, recordings, published compositions, and printed materials such as books, journal articles, etc. may do so by contacting the Conservatory Student Association.  A display case for students has been designated in the Performing Arts Center next to the Dean’s Office.

 How to Display Materials

• To display any materials, contact CSA.  The CSA Executive Board and the Dean of the Conservatory will review all requests to display materials.  The Dean of the Conservatory and the CSA President will discuss the requests during monthly meetings throughout the academic year.
• The student, organization, or ensemble must call or email CSA and provide the following information: name, email address and phone number, and what you would like to display.  CSA can be contacted at umkccsa@umkc.edu or at (816) 235-2942.

Display Restrictions

• Newspaper and journal articles about students, organizations, and ensembles will not be considered.  Newspaper and journal articles by students will be considered.
• Trophies will not fit in the display case.
• To get displayed materials back at any time, contact CSA.
• CSA will display materials for up to one year.  If CSA has not been contacted by the student, organization, or ensemble to get the materials back prior to one year of display time, CSA will attempt to contact the student, organization, or ensemble once.  If the student, organization, or ensemble cannot be contacted, CSA will forward the materials to the University Archives.
