Road Rally Rules
All participants must fill out a "Hold
Harmless" form at registration
1. All traffic laws are to be followed. The
University of Missouri at Kansas City and the Department of Computer Science and
Engineering are not responsible for any tickets, warnings or injuries occurred
during the road rally.
2. There must be at least two, but no more than four, passengers to every
vehicle. Vehicles must return with all members of their team in the vehicle. If
not, the team and all the members of the team will be disqualified.
3. Returning late will incur a mandatory loss of points indicated in the
Point System.
4. You will be given a list of places, their addresses and local maps,
where you must go in order to earn points.
5. You will be given a window placard that must be kept in a visible area
at all times, so it may be viewed at manned checkpoints.
6. You will be supplied with an emergency phone number for use in the
highly unlikely case of getting lost or some other emergency. In the case of a
critical emergency, the police and all other necessary authorities should be
contacted immediately.
7. Any and all reckless behavior should be put on hold during the road
rally and will not be condoned.
8. You will be provided with a departure and arrival location, which you
must depart from and arrive at in order to be qualified for said road rally.
