When it comes to planning for a career after college, UMKC SIFE students have two things in common. (1) Their experiences as a UMKC SIFE student have better prepared and qualified them & (2) their participation on SIFE projects have provided them with unparalleled access to the country’s most successful executives and entrepreneurs. Both mean internships and jobs for team members. Each year the UMKC SIFE team selects projects that make a difference in the community by helping people develop a better understanding of how our free enterprise system works and how they can use this information to empower themselves to achieve new successes. As a member of the UMKC SIFE team, you’ll face challenges and learn from experiences that you simply can’t find in a classroom. You’ll develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills far beyond those of most college students. You’ll be preparing for the real world by facing real world challenges.
