Students Take Action (STA) was founded in 1998 by a group of dental students dedicated to compassion and comradeship through community service. STA volunteers participate in a variety of volunteer activities throughout the year. We pride ourselves in making a difference in the Kansas City metro area by serving the needs of the community. We volunteer at free and discounted clinics, perform screenings at various events, mentor children, and fundraise to send children with cancer to a nearby camp during the summer, free of charge.
