Any student enrolled at the University of Missouri Kansas City -
regardless of race, sex, national origin, color or creed- who
is interested in improving the human relations in general, and the quality of
life for black students in particular, on campus of the University of Missouri-
Kansas City

Joining TAASU is easy. You may Fill out the membership forms that
are available during the meetings. If you are not able to attend the
meetings, you should contact the membership chairman ,Jonmichael Banks by email at
jmb5x8@umkc.edu or stop by our office in
the African American History and Culture House located at 5245 Rockhill Road .
Benefits of a TAASU member includes:
- Receive a TAASU T-shirt
- Allows you to travel with us.
- Chance to become TAASU member of the month
- Able to vote on the next executive board
- A great opportunity to get involved
This will enable you to be
updated on TAASU sponsored events. To become an actual member of TAASU, you
must pay dues of $10 per school year. This enables TAASU to put on events,
free of charge to you. The fee is good only for the fall, winter and summer of
which school year it was paid. For more questions contact us at

All meetings are held at the African-American History & Culture
House (AAHCH). The AAHCH is located at 5245 Rockhill Rd. It is the
last house on the block that is directly across from the new student parking
garage. You can't miss it!
Members are expected to pay $10.00 dues every year. In addition,
they must attend at least four meetings every semester and assist with the set
up for our various functions that we host and sponsor.
