Initiation and Chartering Ceremony, October 2004
On Saturday, October 30, 2004 we held our charter ceremony and initiation for Upsilon Pi Epsilon.
We would like to thank everyone who worked so hard over the last several months to get this chapter
started. Upsilon Pi Epsilon is dedicated to recognizing undergraduate and graduate students
(as well as faculty members) for academic excellence in computer science and information technology.

Membership in UPE is a measure of academic achievement which is well respected by recruiters from major
corporations and also allows members to compete for scholarships.

We would like to congratulate all the students and faculty who have joined us as members of UPE.
